Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much I enjoyed my 'on site' training with you last week. As you were probably aware from earlier discussions we had I had seven years experience in being involved in the making of artificial rock professionally and had built up a good reputation as a result of the consistency of work I delivered to my clients over the years. They were were happy and that was great but the thing was I wasn't and this was dramatically amplified after coming across you work on the web.
What I saw in your images was artificial rock that looked as real as I had ever seen. In my case I built what I thought was very good artificial rock but to my eye it still looked artificial as an end result and I was looking for somehow to up the 'ante' to keep developing my skills and stand out from my competitors
When I saw your rock work 'live' for the first time at the training site at Newcastle I was stunned, actually gobsmacked might be a better description.It wasn't just the rock you had created that looked so incredibly real and alive it was the working setting itself you had created as well. The layout, the positioning of all the pieces and the combinations with the plants and other materials in the landscape and how cost effective you can do what you do amazed me.
